Debut novelist Chelsea Banning’s Dec. 4 Twitter post pulled at our heartstrings. Only two of 37 RSVPs had shown up for the Dec. 3 signing for her first novel, “Of Crowns & Legends.” Within hours, Neil Gaiman, Stephen King, Jodie Picoult, Margaret Atwood, and many other A-list authors had responded with messages of support; and orders for the book had exploded, afnd it remains on Arthurian Legend bestseller lists.

Since her frank Twitter post lamenting light attendance at her Ohio book signing, debut novelist Chelsea has been interviewed by major news organizations like USA Today and NPR, and she quickly landed a crackerjack agent.

But her story wasn’t just a fluke. Chelsea Banning is a librarian, her book’s theme grew from her passion for the genre, her writing is compelling, the cover design is spot-on, and her public messaging is authentic and engaging. Her book was primed for takeoff.

Join us for the live interview on Jan. 19! Post your comments & questions on all our livestream destinations, or listen at your leisure immediately afterward on your favorite podcast app!
