To show the relationship between Manoj and Dr. Jane Goodall
Dr. Jane Goodall and Manoj Gautam in Nepal

We are continuing the soft launch of the YouTube channel for our beloved friend and wildlife conservationist, Manoj Gautam, who is currently director at the Jane Goodall Institute of Nepal. Several powerful new videos have been added, so check them out!

Publisher Charlotte Pierce and her colleague Melissa Fournier visited the environmental visionary in February and March 2019, and “Manoj pulled out all the stops,” she said. “We visited places very few tourists go, like the Mugu District, Lake Rara, and the ManuMitra urban dog project in Kathmandu. We came back with at least four new book projects, many new friends, and along with concern, much hope for the future of our planet.”

Also in the works are a podcast and a series of books by Manoj and colleagues Sangita Sapkota, Basant Gautam, and Sarah Vallentine under the Peeragogy Books imprint of Pierce Press. A wider launch for the YouTube channel will be announced as the podcast is built out.

In the meantime, if you have found this posting, we invite you to visit, subscribe, watch, and comment on each video, as you have the time and inclination. Let’s save some animals!
