Plan on publishing a book in 2025? Start marketing now, the experts say.
As an independent author, marketing needs to be part of your mindset, as soon as know you want to write a book, even if your publication date is years away. Otherwise. you may be “privashing” instead of publishing, as publisher David Godine told us at the 2011 IPNE conference!
Even if you publish through a traditional press or hybrid publisher, there are ways to build and leverage your “author platform” long before the book is in your hand.
Already have your book printed and uncertain how to sell it? All is not lost! Our host and panelists have keys for successful marking of published titles, as well.
